Cookie Policy

Effective 2026-05-22 · Last updated 2026-05-22

We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you logged in and keep the Service secure. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to improve the Service. We do not use advertising cookies.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. They allow websites to remember information about your visit, such as your login status and preferences. Cookies can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (stored for a set period).

Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which we also use for storing non-sensitive user preferences (e.g., UI theme selection, dismissed banners).

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled. Without them, you cannot log in or use authenticated features.

  • Session / refresh token: HTTP-only, Secure cookie storing your authentication token. Required for login. Expires with your session or on logout.
  • CSRF protection token: Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks. Required for any state-changing action.
  • Load balancer affinity: Routes your requests to the same server instance during a session. Session-scoped.

3. Analytics Cookies (With Consent)

We do not currently have analytics cookies active. This section is reserved for future use. When we add analytics, we will update this policy and obtain fresh consent before setting any analytics cookies.

We will never use analytics data to build advertising profiles or sell insights about you to third parties.

4. No Advertising Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking tags of any kind. There is no Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tag, or similar technology on Quantinger.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies on specific pages:

  • Cloudflare cf_clearance and __cf_bm cookies are set for bot detection and DDoS protection. These are security-necessary and operate under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Vercel — may set cookies for routing and performance optimisation on the frontend CDN.
  • Paddle — sets cookies on the checkout/billing page only, for payment processing and fraud prevention under Paddle's own terms.

6. Managing Cookies

Our consent banner: On your first visit, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen. You can choose “Accept All” (strictly necessary + analytics when available) or “Strictly Necessary Only”. You can revisit this choice via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
